Because these people sure as hell won’t. While the West fritters away time worrying about institutional racism, embracing multiculturalism to the detriment of its own laws and values, and tries very, very hard to deny that there is a problem - our ideological enemies have parties to remember the murderers martyrs.
‘During the last two years there was a big celebration and people in the area have accepted his grave as a shrine of a big saint. That is why this time we told his uncle to avoid a big celebration.’
But despite police requests, some villagers insisted on laying flowers at Tanweer’s grave.
One villager was reported as saying: ‘The party is kept secret from people outside the village but everyone knows it happens every year.’
In Canada - you get charged with thought crimes and hate speech if you speak out against these terroristic acts and name religions involved. In Pakistan, your family hands out sweets and holds a party to celebrate your “martyrdom”, achieved while murdering innocent people whose only crime was to be on the wrong train at the wrong time.
At least the families of the true victims realize the nature of the enemy - knowledge bought with the senseless death of a loved one.
His daughter Lisa added: ‘It’s really upsetting. At a time when Muslim people are trying to gain people’s respect and put an end to prejudice, it doesn’t paint them in a positive light.
Ohhhhh, careful there, Lisa. Let’s not forget to think about “root causes”, and the fact that everything bad that happens to Westerners is our own fault. Please take a moment to readjust your moral equivalence meter, and only comment when you have something positive to say about a religiously motivated murder of innocent civilians. Something like “Of course, it’s not these boys fault - they come from disadvantaged households full of frustration and disillusionment, and the UK should have been more sensitive and responsive to their needs. It’s really not surprising that they blew themselves up grew angry enough to take drastic action to draw attention to their horrible plight. Hopefully the Government will take the proper steps to ensure that another young man is not forced to take such desperate action”.
Speaking of watching what you say:
Stacey Beer, who lost her brother Phil, 22, in the King’s Cross explosion, said: ‘It’s disgusting. I really can’t believe it, although nothing surprises me any more about these people.’
“These People”? Good thing Stacey doesn’t live in Canada - she would probably have to apologize to the martyr’s family, and pay them restitution for violating their basic human right of not ever being offended. Of course, being offended by the act of commuters being blown up by fanatics isn’t covered by the Basic Human Right of Never Being Offended, as long as the person doing the ’sploding is a member of a multiculturally protected group.

Perhaps it would be useful to pause and remember the sacrifices made to protect freedom of speech, and other basic human rights.
“We are on high ground overlooking the front and have a grandstand view of the battle up ahead. We have a wonderful artillery barrage and swell support from the Typhoons and Spits of the R.A.F. and R.C.A.F. They sure make a grand sight with their rockets, bombs and cannon. No air opposition and very little flak.”
Of course, some would prefer we forget the sacrifices made and rewrite history to be much more sympathetic to the “other side”.
…it is Ferguson’s revisionist view of the tactics applied by the Allies in World War II that is likely to raise the hackles of those who have always believed in the “necessity” of bombing German and Japanese civilians, culminating in the atomic attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, to end a war we did not start.
“I think it’s very hard for those who have imbibed the idea of a ‘great generation’ that what the Allies did to defeat the Axis was in some measure to adopt totalitarian tactics,” Ferguson says in a Q&A on PBS’s Web site.
Ferguson, obviously, does not abide my any such nonsense as a “greatest generation“. From Ferguson’s perspective, it’s OK to admit that Hitler was bad - as long as we accept that the allies were just as bad - if not worse.

A use for a Che t-shirt other than as a pitiable prop used by upper middle-class white boys wanting to appear cool and revolutionary while desperately trying to get laid.

Jealous? Want your own Che stuff? Well, visit Che-Mart, estupido! Where many, many fine apparels of great tastiness to clueless gringos can be found.

And of course, the one item most recommended by the Expat Texan team of elite shopping advisors:

What say you now?
Terror Purposely Targets Civilians – The terrorist operating the bulldozer chose his victims deliberately - even starting his attack by motioning for a woman driver to precede him, before crushing her vehicle with his shovel. He went on to run-down pedestrians, ram two buses, and crush a number of civilian cars.
Among his innocent victims is an infant, who was injured in the attack and taken to hospital. Eyewitnesses told police that the murdered mother saved her baby, by throwing the child out the car window, just before the bulldozer crushed her to death.
To be fair to Elmasry - he did say that the totally innocent children should not be targeted. I assume he’s OK with the mother being killed as she fought to save her baby, if we refer to his published remarks.
ELMASRY: I’m saying that it has to be totally innocent, OK? Totally innocent are the children, obviously, OK? But they are not innocent if the army [inaudible] in civilian clothes, OK?
COREN: What about women?
ELMASRY: The same, if they are women in the army…
COREN: Anyone over the age of 18 in Israel is a valid target.
ELMASRY: Anybody above 18 is a part of the Israeli army…
COREN: So everyone in Israel and anyone and everyone in Israel, irrespective of gender, over the age of 18 is a valid target?
ELMASRY: Yes, I would say.
Funny that the Montreal Muslim News site publishes Elmasry’s remarks - presumably as a way of allowing us to evaluate them in full context. Well you know what? Even in full context, Elmasry’s comments are incredible, and reveal the mindset of those who would use Canada’s own western laws to try and silence those who disagree with them.

Let’s see. Canadian female blogger finds a hateful Sikh Facebook site directed towards a CBC commentator, who’s crime is to do a report on Sikh extremism. Sikh’s get upset at being exposed, and threaten said blogger, accusing her of fomenting hatred (yes, I know - irony is apparently not a Sikh strongpoint) Juvenile veiled threats (and perhaps some not so veiled) follow in comments. Brave Sikh’s avenge their honor by making anonymous threats on the internet. Hooray! Manly celebrations and chest thumpigs cut short when their moms call them to dinner.

Well, this should make Germans feel a whole lot better about that old “integration thing”.
A study on Islamic preachers in Germany has found that most imams are unable to help Muslim immigrants integrate into mainstream German society because they are insufficiently prepared for their stay in Germany.
According to the study “Imams in Germany,” up to 20 percent of preachers belong to the more conservative, fundamentalist strand of Islam. The study also discovered that only one fifth of imam’s possess academic qualifications.
I had an interesting little discussion at a blog called PM’s World following a post by the blog owner about the training (or lack thereof) of many imams. This quickly morphed into a debate about “free speech”, with some arguing that a “right” not to be offended trumped freedom of speech. The debate was a good one - with no name calling or unwarrented aggressiveness involved. I was disturbed by the eagerness to trample my rights to keep from offending a protected group, but that was really only expressed by one commentor.

“there is no real freedom of speech if the media do not provide an outlet for other viewpoints more nearly equal to the outlet they reserve for their own.”
The idiocy just gets deeper and deeper.

Can’t win an argument on the merits of the facts? No problem - play the race card.
Support of the Politically Correct Tryanny attracts strange bedfellows. With the swing in public opinion clearly moving against them Haroon & Farber have turned to race baiting as their last sordid defense. Not surprising, you can always tell when you’re winning an argument with a ‘Liberal” , they play the grievance card, evidently supporters of Free-Speech are racists. Thanks for comin out guys, it is comforting to note that your fall back position is straight from the Lying Jackals playbook, but sad to realize that you have no qualms about resorting to heinous deceit.
Damn Wiccans always running roughshod over the judicial system.

You might get it.
Following years of unabashed Bush bashing, Europe now faces the prospect of dealing with it’s problems alone. I’ve never been an isolationist - always thought that we should help whenever possible. However, America is always vilified, no matter what her actions or intentions. I’ve often wondered what would happen if we either decided to do all of the stuff we’re accused of, or just disengaged entirely.
Take, for example, the battle cry of the leftists that the Iraq war was about oil. Really? Then why didn’t we just go take it. Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the home of the Chavezistas - just take it. Or, worse for most governments, just walk away altogether from problems not in our own back yard. Nice continent you have there, Europe. Let’s see how it fares without our help. Tata, good luck, stiff upper lip eh wot? What? Iran has nuclear weapons that they’re threatening to use on anyone within reach? Well, guess you better call the UN and ask them for help. Nice talking to you. Buh-bye. Do keep in touch and let us know how that turns out, hear? Oh, I know - there goes an arrogant American assuming that someone needs their help to survive/flourish. Well, perhaps you’re right - perhaps we do think too much of the value of our aid and friendship. Let’s go our separate ways and find out who needs who more.
From the article:
But I still harbour a conviction that for all their expectation of a brave new dawn, the Europeans are going to miss Mr Bush in ways that they are only beginning to understand.
They’ll miss, first, having a villain in the White House. It’s a really convenient excuse to avoid doing anything yourself on pressing global concerns. And if Senator Obama wins, while the tone and nuances will sound more mellifluous to Europeans ears, most of those issues won’t change, and some might actually become a lot worse.
…
He (Obama - ed) is certainly going to want more European effort in Afghanistan. European governments can conveniently hide behind anti-Bush sentiment now to resist those calls, but that won’t work when St Barry is in the White House.
What’s more, the supposedly more multilateralist Mr Obama might have some unpleasant surprises. He is promising to start a new US-led diplomatic track with the Iranian leadership that could upset the delicate balancing act painstakingly constructed between the US, the EU, Russia and China. And when it comes to free trade he, like the Democratic Party, is decidedly not keen on being nice to foreigners.
…
My biggest worry, in fact, is that Mr Obama wins and the Democrats get a huge majority in Congress. The new president will be focused hard on two big policy challenges in Washington - dealing with Iraq and reforming US healthcare. He won’t have a lot of political capital to spare to stand up to a resurgent Democratic Party in Congress over trade policy, and the US could slide further towards protectionism.
Meanwhile, a big Republican defeat in November is quite likely to result in a very nasty isolationist turn inside the opposition party. The neoconservatives - those bad guys who believe that the US should spend blood and treasure trying to bring democracy to the great unwashed - will be discredited. President Obama could find himself under pressure from both parties in Congress to put US interests first.
Even worse, there’ll be no more market for Bush = Hitler merchandise.

An entire cottage industry will suffer - not to mention the members of the papier mache guild that will find themselves jobless.

The situation in Canada may be worse than even I thought.
A seven-year-old girl and a boy, 2, were recently taken by child welfare workers from a home in south Winnipeg after the girl showed up at school with “hate-related drawings on her body,” police Const. Blair Good said Monday. Good would not confirm a media report that quoted unnamed sources as saying the girl was sporting a swastika and a white supremacy slogan.
Manitoba Child and Family Services is before the courts looking to obtain permanent guardianship of the children. The move is based partly on “concerns that the parents’ conduct might endanger the emotional well-being of the children … and that the children may be at risk of harm due to the parents’ behaviour and associations,” according to an affidavit from a child welfare worker.
No word yet on whether children taught that it is OK to kill infidels or target Jewish civilians will be excluded due to concerns about multicultural sensitivity.
UPDATE:
